Brand Identity
Palm Gardens Motel
2020

Palm Gardens Motel is a destination that embodies the essence of Southern California, with its western style and vintage flair. As an art director for this brand identity, I aimed to highlight the unique aesthetic of the desert and the geographic location of the motel in Twentynine Palms, California. Drawing inspiration from the stunning natural surroundings and the motel's history, I sought to create an identity that celebrated the location and refreshed the vintage aesthetic with a modern twist.
To achieve this, I focused on using a warm color palette inspired by the desert sunset, combined with vintage typography and imagery that reflected the motel's history. I also incorporated modern design elements and textures to create a fresh and contemporary look while retaining the charm of the motel. The result was a brand identity that not only celebrated the uniqueness of Palm Gardens Motel but also resonated with customers looking for a memorable and authentic getaway experience.
