Brand Identity
Planned Parenthood - Promotores De Salud
Janurary 2023

The Promotores de Salud program, a sub brand of Planned Parenthood, focuses on improving health outcomes for Latinx communities. As the lead designer for this project, I was tasked with creating a visual identity that not only represented the program's values but also increased its awareness and impact. The PdS brand aims to destigmatize sexual and reproductive healthcare by promoting trust, safety, support, understanding, and uplifting energy. Through brand consistency, PdS hopes to support a culture change in the Latinx community.

To create the PdS logo, I aimed to represent the program's strength and unity. The flower icon is made up of single petals, each one representing a Promotores team member. Together, these petals symbolize how the team becomes stronger and the program more impactful. The logo design is simple yet effective, conveying the PdS message of unity and strength.

In addition to the logo, I also developed a photography style that reflected the PdS brand's values. The candid photography captures the spirit and resilience of the Latinx community, promoting sexual and reproductive health education. Each photo highlights the beauty and diversity of the community and aligns with the uplifting energy and supportive tone of the PdS brand.
